The UC Riverside women’s basketball team continues its season-opening weekend at Northern Arizona on Sunday, November 13 for a 1:05 pm PST contest in Flagstaff, AZ. Live Stats
NAU owns a 3-2 all-time record against the Highlanders, but UCR defeated the Lumberjacks 81-63 in their last meeting on November 15, 2009.
The Highlanders dropped their season opener 66-46 at Arizona State on Friday (recap / box score). Tre’Shonti Nottingham and Jessica Ogunnorin paced UC Riverside offensively with 14 and 13 points respectively.
Northern Arizona also lost its season opener—an 84-60 loss at Colorado on Friday. Three players scored in double figures for the Lumberjacks led by Amanda Frost’s 18 points.
