Fresh off its first victory of the 2011-12 season, the UC Riverside women’s basketball team hosts Louisiana-Lafayette for a 7:00 pm tip on Wednesday, November 23 at the Student Recreation Center.
UCR used an offensive explosion to defeat CSU Bakersfield on November 19, snapping an 0-3 start to the season with its 76-62 victory.
Three Highlanders players are averaging double-figure scoring led by 14.3 from Tre’Shonti Nottinghan, 11.3 from Natasha Hadley, and 10.3 from Jessica Ogunnorin.
The Ragin’ Cajuns enter Wednesday’s game with an 0-3 record after losses to LSU-Shreveport, Nicolls State, and McNeese State. Krystal Motley leads Louisiana with 16.0 points a game.
This is the first meeting between the teams in program history.
