UCR Breaks From League Play With 7 PM Tip At CSU Bakersfield Wednesday

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team takes a break from Big West Conference play to take on CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday, January 18 with a 7:00 pm tip in Bakersfield, CA.
This is the second meeting between these teams this season, with the Highlanders earning the 76-62 victory on November 19. Since that time, though, both UCR and CSUB have recorded just one additional victory each.
The Highlanders are currently on an eight-game losing skid, while the Runners have lost 11 consecutive.
The Highlanders are averaging just 54.9 points per game, while CSU Bakersfield averages 70.4.
The Roadrunners are led offensively by Kristine Herman’s 14.2 points per game, with Natasha Hadley pacing active UCR players with 12.2 ppg.
UC Riverside has won four of five games against CSU Bakersfield dating back to the 2007-08 season.
