Bakersfield, CA—The UC Riverside Women’s Basketball Team hits the road for a Sunday, November 18 contest at CSU Bakersfield beginning at 4 pm PT in Bakersfield, CA.

Since dropping their season opener to Gonzaga on November 9, the Highlanders have won two straight and are looking to make it three in a row for the first time since the 2010-11 season. UCR most recently defeated Utah State, 94-90, in overtime on November 15 (box score/recap/video).

Three players are averaging double-figure scoring for UCR with Tre’Shonti Nottingham leading the way with 26.0 points per game.

CSU Bakersfield is 1-2 entering Sunday’s game, most recently losing to Sacramento State on Friday, 79-72.

The Highlanders own the all-time series record against the Runners, 4-2, but CSUB took home the win in the teams’ last contest, a 72-66 victory on January 18, 2011 (view all-time results).
