Women's Basketball Starts Four-Game Homestand Friday Against Princeton At 7 PM

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Women’s Basketball Team begins a four-game homestand this Friday, November 23 as Princeton travels to the Inland Empire for a 7 pm PT tip. The Highlanders then host Pac-12 Washington State on November 28 before facing off against Northern Arizona (Dec. 2) and Idaho (Dec. 7).

The Highlanders take a three-game winning streak into Friday’s contest, and will look to win four in a row for the first time since the 2010-11 season. Guard Tre’Shonti Nottingham averaged 29.0 points over the past three games, and was rewarded as the Big West Conference Player of the Week for her efforts.

The Highlanders most recently defeated CSU Bakersfield on the road, 75-63, on November 18 (box score/recap).

Princeton is 2-1 entering Friday’s game after defeating Rider 88-42 on Tuesday. Niveen Rasheed and Megan Bowen lead the Tigers is scoring, averaging 12.7 and 10.3 points a game respectively.

This is the first meeting between the teams.
