Women's Tennis Concludes Road Swing With 6-1 Loss At UC Davis

Davis, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team concluded its two match road swing Saturday afternoon with a 6-1 loss at UC Davis in Big West Conference action.

The Aggies went in front early taking the doubles point with identical 8-3 wins at numbers two and three and an 8-5 victory at number one.

In singles, UCD won in straight sets at numbers six, one, five and three to go up 5-0. Natalie McKay then lost at number four, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9), but Taylor Raney came through with a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5) win over Lauren Curry at #2 singles to give the Highlanders their lone point of the day.

Next up for the blue and gold is a home match against UC Irvine on Friday, April 12 at 1 pm PT at Andulka Park.
