Men's Basketball Puts Eight On Highlanders Honor Roll For Winter Quarter

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team announced today that eight members of the team made the Highlanders Honor Roll during the winter quarter.
Dayton Boddie, TJ Burke, Lucas Devenny, Josh Fox, Davin Guinn, Taylor Johns, Chris Patton and Austin Quick all posted grade point averages of 3.0 or better. The team's cumulative GPA was just shy of a 3.0.
"I'm really proud of our guys," said Head Coach Jim Wooldridge. "As we continue to move our program forward, the success these young men have in the classroom is worth celebrating just as much as their success on the court. "
In all, 107 members of UC Riverside's 17 athletics programs were named to the Highlanders Honor Roll last quarter. That group includes 29 members of the Dean's List, and nine student-athletes who recorded a 4.0 in either the fall or winter term.
