Men's Tennis Prepares For Four Matches In Three Days Starting Friday In Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team travels to Sin City this weekend for four matches in three days beginning on Friday, January 31.
The Highlanders first face off against Weber State Friday at 10 am PT, followed by a Saturday contest against New Mexico State at 10 am. UCR then competes against Southern Mississippi on Sunday at 10 am before concluding the weekend against UNLV at 2 pm.
UC Riverside is in search of its first win of the season following a recent 0-2 road swing in Tucson, where the Highlanders lost a 4-3 heartbreaker to Northern Arizona (recap), and a 7-0 shutout by Arizona (recap).
Weber State is 1-2 this season after picking up a 5-2 win over Idaho State this past Saturday. New Mexico State is 1-1 this year following an opening weekend split against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (L, 4-0) and Utah State (W, 4-3).
Southern Mississippi is 2-0 on the season with a 6-1 win over Jacksonville State, and a 7-0 victory over Jackson State. UNLV has yet to play a dual match in 2014, and opens with New Mexico State on Friday.
