Palm Desert, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team lost a 7-0 match to Portland on Saturday in a neutral site contest at the Doral Desert Princess Resort.

In doubles, UCR's number three duo of Thahn Doan and Tiffany Jue won 8-3, but the Highlanders lost at the other two positions as the Pilots took the first point of the match.

In singles, two of the Highlanders matches went into a tiebreaker, but Portland won in both, and won in straight sets in the other four matches for the win.

UC Riverside next returns to action on March 13 hosting Georgetown at noon PT at Andulka Park in Riverside.
