Santa Barbara, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team returned to Big West Conference action Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss at UC Santa Barbara.
The Gauchos took the doubles point with an 8-3 win at the top spot, and identical 8-1 wins at numbers two and three.
In singles, UCR's Jasmine Almaguer played a close first set, 7-6 (7), before ultimately falling in the next, 6-0. UCSB took the other five sets in straight sets for the sweep.
The Highlanders remain on the road to face Cal Poly on Sunday, April 6 beginning at 11 am PT in San Luis Obispo, CA.
