Women's Tennis Returns To Big West Conference Action At UCSB And Cal Poly This Weekend

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team begins the month of April with a full weekend of Big West Conference matches, traveling to UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly on April 5-6. The Highlanders and Gauchos square off at noon PT Saturday, followed by an 11 am Sunday contest against the Mustangs.

UCSB has won two of its last three matches and hosts Long Beach State Friday before playing UCR Saturday.

Cal Poly is 3-8 this season and 0-4 in conference play, and likewise hosts the 49ers Saturday before welcoming the Highlanders.

UCR is in the home stretch of the season with just five matches remaining—all in league—before heading to Indian Wells for the annual Big West Tournament starting April 24.
