Big West Conference Championship On Tap For UC Riverside Women's Golf April 13-15

San Luis Obispo, CA—The Big West Conference Championship is up next for the UC Riverside Women's Golf Team April 13-15 at San Luis Obispo Country Club.
Eight teams with five golfers on each squad will compete for the team and individual titles on the par-73 course that measures 6,196 yards with five par-5's, nine par-4's and four par-3's.
A practice round is slated for Saturday, followed by the first round of play Sunday at 7:30 am PT. Monday's second round of play tees off at 9:00 am, with the final round set for Tuesday at 7:30 am. Awards will be presented following the final round approximately at 2:30 pm.
The winning team advances to the NCAA Division I women's regionals which are held at three sites, including the West Regional at Tumble Creek at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA, from May 8-10. Oklahoma State and Florida State will host the other two regionals. The four-day NCAA Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for May 20-23 at the Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, OK.
Last season, the Highlanders finished in fourth place out of seven teams at the Big West Championship—their highest finish since the 2006 and 2007 seasons (recap).
