Hector Romo's First Half Goal Holds Up In 1-0 Men's Soccer Win Over Cal State Los Angeles

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team finished off its preseason schedule Saturday evening with a 1-0 victory over visiting Cal State Los Angeles.
The Highlanders got all the offense they needed in the 26th minute when Hector Romo's corner kick caromed off of a Golden Eagles defender and into the net to put UC Riverside on top.
UCR opens its 2014 regular season at home this Friday, August 29 against Pacific. Kick off against the Tigers is slated for 7 pm PT.
