Men's Tennis Hosts Sacramento State This Friday

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team will host Sacramento State for its spring season home opener this Friday, Jan. 30. The match is slated for a 1 pm PT start.

The Highlanders go into Friday's match 0-3, falling to #69 San Diego State (recap), #1 USC (recap), and Arizona (recap). UCR's doubles pair Marcus Vizcarra and Sina Sharifi topped their Wildcat opponents at the No. 1 spot, 6-1, at their most recent match in Tuscon. Both Michael Carella and Hans Baumstark came away with victories in the No. 5 and No. 6 slot, respectively.

Friday will mark the beginning of Sacramento State's spring season.
