Eugene, OR—The UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team (5-4) visits the Pacific Northwest for a set of games against Pac 12 foes Oregon and Washington. Tuesday, December 15 they face the Ducks in a 5pm PT tip-off, and on Friday, December 18, they'll take on the Washington Huskies at 7pm PT.

UCR is coming off an 81-61 victory Saturday night versus CSU Bakersfield. In that win Brittany Crain scored a season-high 29 points, including 3-5 from deep, for her third 25 point plus game of the year. (box score/recap)

For her efforts she was named Big West Player of the Week—the sixth time she has received the honor in her career.

Crain has been especially dominant over the last four games, averaging 24.5 points and knocking down 54.8 percent (17-of-31) of her three-point attempts. She leads the Big West in scoring at 18.4 points per game, and ranks 25th nationally with 27 made threes on the season.

Rejane Verin got back on track against the Roadrunners with 18 points and 9 rebounds. In each of her previous two games she fouled out, and failed to reach double figures.

Michelle Curry scored in double figures for third time this season with 14 points, aided by going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

As a team UCR ranks 11th in the nation in assists per game (19.4) and 15th in three point field goal percentage (.393).

Oregon (8-0) has played seven straight home games after opening at North Carolina with a 77-75 win, in what was their most competitive game of the season—back on November 15.

Offensively the Ducks rank nationally in several categories. They are 3rd in both field goal (53.4) and three point field goal percentage (.438). They are 6th in assists per game (20.0) and their rebounding margin (+11.4) is 20th.

In their last game, a 93-52 win versus Portland, the Ducks connected on 13-of-19 three point attempts. Lexi Petersen went 4-of-5 from deep on her way to 23 points, Maite Cazorla also went 4-of-5 from three in tallying 18, and Jillian Allenye had a 15-point, 11-rebound double double in the victory.

Fontana native Allenye, leads the nation with eight double doubles, and ranks 6th in both rebounds per game (13.6) and field goal percentage (66.3). Petersen (14.0) and Lexi Brando (13.4) both average double figures, and are among four Ducks that have made 13 or more threes this season.

The Highlanders will look to repeat the success of five years ago, when they went to Eugene and knocked off Oregon 74-69, in the only meeting between the schools in history. (box score/recap)

Washington (7-2) is 4-1 at home this season. In their last game at South Dakota, they overcame a five-point halftime deficit, and outscored the Coyotes 49-31 in the 2nd half to claim a 77-64 victory.

Talia Walton led them in the win with 29 points and 11 rebounds, including 6-of-9 from three point land. Kelsey Plum added 25 points on 10-24 shooting, with 7 rebounds. Plum went 1 for 7 from long distance.

Plum leads the nation in scoring at 28.0 per game, and Talia Walton ranks 33rd with 19.4 per game. Their combined 47.4 points per game make them the highest scoring duo in the country.

UCR is 1-1 all-time versus Washington, and they fell in last year's match-up at home 74-71. (box score/recap)
