Riverside—The UC Riverside Track & Field Teams are sending a small contingent of distance runners—Cody Jordan, Seth Totten, Raquel Hefflin, Faith Makeu, and Weslie Totten—to the Stanford Invitational this weekend, while a pair of throwers—Vesta Bell and Deja Watkins—make their way to the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational.
The rest of the squad rests up over Easter Weekend following a busy weekend at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic.
The Highlanders are hosting the Big West Conference Track & Field Championships this May with the multi-events scheduled for May 8-9, with the rest of the championships being contested on May 15-16.
