Cody Jordan Takes Seventh In 1,500m At ASU Baldy Castillo Invitational

Tempe, AZ—Cody Jordan posted a seventh place finish in the 1,500m Friday at the Arizona State Baldy Castillo Invitational, besting runners from Kentucky, Iowa, Texas A&M and the host Sun Devils with a time of 3:48.66. That mark qualifies him for Big West, and is just one-and-a-half seconds off his personal best of 3:47.15 set on April 3, 2015 at the Stanford Invitational.

Silviu Bocancea led the Highlanders throws contingent with a ninth place finish in the Hammer, clearing 58.05m

On the Women's side, Vesta Bell, coming off of her National Championship effort last week at NCAA Indoors, finished in 12th place in the Hammer Throw with a top mark of 56.22m. Weslie Totten set a new PR in the 1,500m finishing in 17th place with a time of 4:36.26.
