Riverside–The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team battles California Baptist University in the Mission Cup Saturday, January 21 at Canyon Crest Country Club in a dual match scheduled to begin at 11:30 am PT.Â
In their last event of the fall, the Highlanders finished eighth out of 19 teams at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, which featured 15 programs ranked in the Golfstat top-100. Jakeishya Le and Hannah Facchini both finished the tournament at -7, which set a new UCR Women's Golf 36-hole record (story).
The Division II Lancers won the PacWest Championship for the second year in a row last season. They continued on into the NCAA Division II regionals, where they finished fifth at Brookside Country Club. This Saturday will be CBU's first event of the spring season.

The Mission Cup will be played in match play, Ryder Cup format with eight players competing from each team. The clubs will play four-ball format on the front nine in four matches with two-player tandems for each school, and will finish the back with nine head-to-head singles match play.
Spectators are permitted at the Canyon Crest Country Club, where golf attire is mandatory.
