Riverside–The UC Riverside Softball team resumes Big West Conference play this weekend with a three-game set against the UC Davis Aggies.

The series opening double header gets underway Saturday April 22 at 1 pm at Amy S. Harrison field. On Sunday, the program will honor their alumni before and throughout the series finale at 1 pm.

The Highlanders dropped both games of a double-header at home versus CSU Bakersfield Wednesday. Rebecca Faulkner led the way with four hits, a homerun and four RBIs against the Roadrunners.

UC Riverside (21-19, 3-6) enters the weekend alone in seventh, a full game ahead of UC Davis (17-24, 2-7) in eighth. In last year's series, the Highlanders swept the Aggies in Davis outscoring them 14-4.
