Riverside–Earlier this week, UC Riverside Women's Basketball Head Coach John Margaritis announced the signing of Daphne Gnago from France.

Gnago, a 6-1 forward, played on the Junior French National Team, and was one of 12 players to represent her country in both the European (2014, 2015) and World Championships (2016). She graduates from INSEP France (Lycée Marcelin Berthelot) in Paris with an emphasis in science.

"We are so excited to have Daphne join our basketball family. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and also one of the most competitive. Her size, athleticism, and skill level will make UC Riverside a more competitive team simply because she will be wearing our uniform. I cannot wait for the opportunity to coach her." said Coach Margaritis.
