Women’s Golf Prepared for Big West Tournament

MOORPARK, Calif. - Preparing for the Big West tournament, the Women's Golf team has steadily seen improvement on the course. The team is looking to improve off their fifth place finish at the Cowgirl Classic. Head Coach Mary Ritchie talked about the preparation, "We've had a couple practices since we got back from Arizona. They were very effective."

Last Match: Cowgirl Classic

Senior Jakeishya Le was the highest finishing Highlander as she finished tied for 11^th shooting +4 (220) on the tournament. The senior shot a steady +2 (74) in the final round on the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes course.

Sophomore Ping Huang jumped 22 spots in the standings in the third round after she shot +1 (73). Huang finished the tournament +10 (226) which put her finished at tied for 32^nd. The Highlanders finished with the fourth-best par 5 scoring as a team and finished with the third most pars in the tournament.
