Women’s Golf Travels to the Copper State for the Cowgirl Classic

MARICOPA, Ariz. – Off to the Grand Canyon state is where the Women's Golf team is heading this upcoming week for the Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona. The team looks to build off their first two rounds from the Fresno State Classic.

Last Match: Fresno State Classic

Coming off a the Fresno State Classic in which the Highlanders finished in fifth place, the team looks to bring that to Arizona. Although the team didn't finish how they wanted, there was enough promise to give Head Coach Mary Ritchie confidence heading into this week.

"I love that we are playing in three straight tournaments back-to-back-to-back. I feel that our team will benefit greatly from staying in competition mode right up until the conference championship. The Cowgirl Classic is perfect primer," Ritchie said.
