RIVERSIDE, Calif.— UC Riverside Men's Basketball Head Coach David Patrick confirmed the addition of a pair of talented transfers. Coach Patrick's international coaching experience with the Australian National Team and proven recruiting track record in the Australasia region helped the Highlanders land Flynn Cameron and Jock Perry, both of whom have competed on the national stage for their respective countries.
Flynn Cameron
Flynn is a 6'3 Jr. guard from DePaul University, where he was named to the Big East All-Academic team as a freshman. He also represented New Zealand in multiple international events, including two FIBA U19 World Cups.
Coach Patrick—"Flynn gives us another experienced winner at the guard position. His size, strength, and skillset adds more depth to our backcourt. Flynn comes from DePaul in the Big East, where he played significant minutes as a freshman. His success on the international stage for his home country of New Zealand allows him to help us immediately."
Jock Perry
7'1 grad transfer center Jock Perry is from Melbourne, Australia and is a product of the Centre of Excellence (COE). Perry played three years at Saint Mary's College of California, where he was a part of 78 wins and played in multiple NCAA tournaments. He also won a Bronze Medal at the 2019 World Uni Games with the Australian National Team.

Jock comes from winning stock, having played at top-25 program at St Mary's. His skills, leadership, and personality makes him the perfect fit for our culture at UCR."
Both players are expected to be eligible for competition at the beginning of the 20-21 season.
