Highlanders Through 36 Holes at Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON, Calif. - UC Riverside is through 36 holes at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational following Tuesday's second round at The Reserve at Spanos Park. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Josh Hu birdied 10 for a strong start after bogeying it on Monday and finished the back nine going birdie, par, birdie. 
  • Chanhee Ryu shot 22 spots up the leaderboard with a 71 (-1), also birdying 10 and finishing his round with birdie, par, birdie, par.
  • UCR shot four strokes better than their tournament-opening 301 on Monday. 
  • Mark Gao went birdie, par, birdie to finish off the back nine while Nik Kittilson birdied his first two holes on the front nine. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Hu and Ryu each shot their lowest rounds of the tournament while Ryu made it two consecutive tournaments with a round of 71 (-1) and Hu jumped 10 spots up the leaderboard. 

UP NEXT

  • UC Riverside will wrap up the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Wednesday with Cortez Herrera getting UCR started on the back nine at 7:39 a.m.
