SALEM, Ore. — UC Riverside closed out the Oregon State Invitational with its best round of the tournament Tuesday, shooting a 2-under 286 to finish at 897 overall at Illahe Hills Country Club.

Stephen Luo paced the Highlanders across all three rounds, carding a final-round 69 to place 13th at 1-over 217. It marked his second consecutive event leading UC Riverside.

Samuel Bonzoumet finished tied for 47th at 10-over 226 after recording a 73 in the finale, while Jacob Vazquez posted an even-par 72 to end at 227. Caden Breisch matched Bonzoumet's 73, and Chanhee Ryu also went even-par to round out the Highlanders' scoring.

The Highlanders' closing 286 was one of the lowest rounds in the field Tuesday and marked a 19-shot improvement from their second round, as they close the fall season.
