NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - UC Riverside finished off a three-game series on Sunday afternoon at Matador Diamond with a 13-7 loss. 

UCR lit up the scoreboard first with Alphonso Mancinas coming home on a well-executed double steal. Mancinas, later on, blasted a two-run homer in the fourth after the Matadors went ahead with a big six-run second. Anthony McFarland, who set the double steal in motion with a swipe of second, went 3 for 4 in the series finale with a run and an RBI. 

UC Riverside found another run in the fifth and sixth before CSUN blew the gates open again in the bottom of the sixth. 

Jacob Badawi took the first pitch of the ninth over the left field fence for his first home run of the season, but it was too little too late. 

The Highlanders are headed to San Diego State this week for a midweek clash before returning to Big West play with a three-game set at Cal Poly.
