RIVERSIDE, Calif. - 2022 Big West Coach of the Year Tim Cupello has announced his 17-match slate for the 2023 season of UC Riverside men's soccer. UCR will face off against three fellow NCAA Tournament participants from last season in Oregon State, San Diego and California Baptist. ]

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at highlanderstickets.universitytickets.com, and fans can download the schedule poster from the official 2023 schedule. 

UCR will kick off the preseason with an exhibition match on August 12 at UCLA, followed by a pair of home scrimmages on August 15 and 18 against Arizona Western and Cal State LA, respectively. 

The regular season kicks off on Thursday, August 24 when UCR welcomes Gonzaga to the UC Riverside Soccer Stadium with an opportunity for fans to take a photo with the Big West trophy. The Highlanders are headed to the Pacific Northwest next on a tight turnaround, traveling to Oregon State on Sunday, August 27. 

A quick stop at home against Pacific on August 31 will precede the Highlanders' longest road trip of the season at San Francisco, San Diego, San Diego State and Northwestern. UC Riverside will return home on Saturday, September 23 for the Crosstown Showdown before the Big West title defense begins on Wednesday, September 27 at UC Irvine. 

The 2023 slate will see the Highlanders welcome Cal Poly, Sacramento State, UC San Diego San Diego, CSU Bakersfield and CSUN to the UC Riverside Soccer Stadium in Big West play.
