SOMIS, Calif. - UC Riverside wrapped the annual Bill Cullum Invitational on Tuesday afternoon with a third-place finish at the Saticoy Club in Somis.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• UCR carded its lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 296 (+8), finishing 15 strokes ahead of fourth-place Stanislaus State.  
• True freshman Hartej Grewal shot a 71 (-1) in round three, ending his day at 2-under over his final six holes.  
• Fellow freshman Stephen Luo was 1-under on his first three holes of the day and wrapped up his first tournament shooting even par on the back nine.  
• Von Wasson fired a 34 (-2) on the front nine with an eagle on eight.  

NOTABLES 

• Grewal and Luo finished five and six on the individual leaderboard as Grewal carded his fourth round under par of the year.  
• Wasson posted his best 18-hole score of the event with a 75 (-3) to move up two places on the final leaderboard.  
• Fellow newcomer Tyler Leibl also posted his lowest score of the two-day event with a 78 (+6).
