DANA POINT, Calif. - UC Riverside men's golf teed off on Monday at Monarch Beach Golf Links for the first two rounds of the Vanharte Orange County Collegiate. Play was suspended due to darkness, but not before the Highlanders were able to complete 36 holes in Dana Point. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Three Highlanders shot a 73 (+3) in round one and two carded a 72 (+2) in round two.  
• Josh Hu and Chanhee Ryu are both tied for 39th and Hu is one of 15 players in the field with at least 23 pars. 
• Hu, Ryu, Nik Kittilson and Kamaljit Singh all shot lower scores in round two.  

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• Mark Gao parred his first four holes of round two and was 1-under on the front nine in round one with a birdie on seven.  
• Singh carded an eagle on nine in round two and was 3-under for the final seven holes of his second round of play.  

UP NEXT 

• UC Riverside will conclude its second spring tournament with an 8:30 a.m. start on Tuesday morning after six groups wrap up round two at 7:15.
