Grady Ties UCR Record as Highlanders Roll Past Stanton

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The Highlanders delivered a strong all-around performance Tuesday night, defeating Stanton 95–70 at SRC Arena as Osiris Grady tied the UC Riverside Division I single-game rebounding record to move UCR to 6–6 on the season.

De'Undrae Perteete turned in his best offensive outing of the year, scoring a season-high 18 points while shooting 7-for-10 from the field and 4-for-6 from three-point range. Andrew Henderson led all scorers with 26 points, knocking down six three-pointers, while Osiris Grady added 19 points and tied the UC Riverside Division I single-game record with 18 rebounds.

Marqui Worthy Jr. finished with 10 points and four assists, and Jailen Daniel-Dalton contributed 11 points to give the Highlanders balanced scoring throughout the lineup.

UC Riverside seized control early, jumping out to a 45–31 lead at halftime behind efficient shooting and strong work on the glass. Henderson set the tone from the perimeter, while Grady consistently finished inside and cleaned up second-chance opportunities including a put back dunk in the second half. The Highlanders shot 48.5 percent in the first half and held Stanton to a single lead change all night.

The Highlanders continued to build separation after the break, stretching the lead to as many as 28 points. Perteete's shooting sparked the offense during the run, and Grady dominated the paint on both ends, finishing with eight offensive rebounds as part of his record-tying night.

UC Riverside finished the game shooting 52.5 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range, while outscoring Stanton 18–8 in second-chance points and 16–5 in fast-break scoring. The Highlanders led for more than 39 minutes and never trailed after the opening tip.

UC Riverside starts a road stretch next, traveling to St. Paul, Minn., for a matchup at St. Thomas on Saturday, Dec. 20.
