RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Highlanders hosted UC Irvine tonight at the SRC in both teams' conference openers. The Anteaters left the IE tonight with a 77-40 win.

UC Irvine took control of the game in the first quarter and did not look back.

The Highlanders found some offense in the second half scoring 15 points in the third quarter and 14 points in the fourth. The Anteaters were just too much on both ends of the floor.

Hannah Wickstrom led the way for UCR scoring 14 points. Freshman Jayda Cobbs made her UCR debut tonight playing 24 minutes and scored her first point on a free throw in the third quarter.
