UCR Drops Tough One Against CMS

RIVERSIDE, Calif.- The Highlanders returned to the SRC Courts this morning for a match against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. UCR looked to build off its win over Hope International last week. CMS came in on a two match losing streak and looked for its first win of the year. This was the third meeting between the schools.

- UCR lost the doubles point in the first session, with the pairing of Lucas Mszyca and Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez falling 5-7.
- Mszyca won his singles match on court four, 6-4 and 6-4.
- Alexey Efremov had a back and forth match won in three sets today, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5.
- Aarav Sane and Justin Lamy both went to three sets, fell in the third.
- The Highlanders return home on February 24 when they host Azusa Pacific at 3:00 p.m.
