PALM DESERT, Calif. — The UC Riverside Highlanders wrapped up a strong performance at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, finishing tied for seventh place with a three-round total of 857 (-7) at Classic Club. The Highlanders delivered a consistent final-round 284 (-4) to cap off an impressive showing in a deep field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Hartej Grewal led the way for UC Riverside, posting a final-round 68 (-4) to finish tied for sixth place at 207 (-9).
• Von Wasson recorded a 71 (-1) in the final round, finishing tied for 22nd at 213 (-3). 
• Liam Hartling closed with a 73 (+1) to finish tied for 43rd at 218 (+2). 
• Chanhee Ryu posted an even-par 72 in the final round, finishing tied for 52nd at 219 (+3).
• Mark Gao recorded a 73 (+1) in the final round to finish tied for 62nd at 224 (+8).
