DAVIS, Calif. - The Highlanders ended their three-game set with the UC Davis Aggies this afternoon, dropping their fifth straight, this time 7-1.
UCR sent
Matthew Flores to the mound to try and stop the skid. Flores entered the game with a 2-0 record and his last time out he earned the win over Hawai'i. This afternoon he went four innings and gave up two runs (one earned) on two hits.
The Aggies got on the board in the fourth inning on a bases loaded walk. They pushed another run across on a passed ball making it 2-0.
In the fifth, UCR got one back as

Ethan Bergan. However, they could not get more runs.
Trailing 2-1, the Highlanders gave up three runs in the bottom half of the fifth on a RBI ground out and a two RBI single.
