RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Highlanders and the Titans were back at The Plex for game two of a three game set. Last night, the Titans topped the Highlanders 12-1. UCR looked to
Matthew O'Brien to stop the bleeding, as UCR is in the middle of a six-game losing streak.
Both teams were scoreless in the first three innings of the game, until the Titans struck first on a RBI ground out.
Moving to the top of the fifth, Cal State Fullerton pushed four more runs across and took a 5-0 lead over UCR.
Then in the top of the seventh, the Titans scored again giving them a 6-0 lead.
UCR threated in the bottom of the seventh as they had
Andrew Rivas up with the bases loaded and two out. He grounded out to end the threat and Highlanders.
In the top of the eighth the Titans scored nine times in the top of the 8
th and took a 15-0 lead.

Diego Boardman and the Highlanders were on the board.
Tyson Reis then came up and drove in
Manoah Chapman and it was 15-2.
Three more came across in the ninth for Cal State Fullerton and it ended 18-3.
