RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside (10-14, 2-7 Big West) wrapped up a three-game set with Cal State Fullerton under sunny skies at the Riverside Sports Complex with a 10-5 defeat. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Jayden Lopez plated UCR's first run of the day in the second, coming around to score on an error from Fullerton's second baseman.  
• UC Riverside caught fire in the fourth. The Highlanders went on a 3-for-5 stretch at the plate and made the most of their scoring opportunities on a two-out, three-run homer from Griffin Harrison.  
• Nolan Milliman entered in relief of Sunday starter Matthew Flores and put Fullerton down quietly in the sixth. Matt Hudson entered in the seventh and immediately picked off the lead runner at second.  
• David Whittle roped his third double of the season off the left center field wall to lead off the seventh inning. Robert Pitts dug in and brought Whittle home with an RBI single up the middle. 

NOTABLES 

• Milliman found his stride late out of the bullpen and collected five strikeouts on the afternoon in 3.1 innings.  
• Pitts upped his on-base streak to 24 games with his RBI single.

• UC Riverside will begin a seven-game road trip on Tuesday, March 25 with a 6:00 p.m. first pitch at San Diego State from Tony Gwynn Stadium.
