Highlanders Drop Series Opener to UC Irvine

This evening it was all Anteaters. It started in the first inning with a three spot for UCI and a quick 3-0 lead. Then in the second, the Anteaters scored seven runs on a couple of singles and with the game at 10-0, UCI was in full control.
The Highlanders pushed their lone run across in the fifth when David Gibbs scored on an Isaiah Hernandez sac-fly to center.
