COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Highlanders bounced back in round two of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Saturday, trimming 21 strokes off its opening score to post a team total of 1-under 287 at Eisenhower Golf Course. The Highlanders now sit at 595 overall with momentum heading into the final round.
Stephen Luo delivered a standout performance, firing a 4-under 68 to climb into a tie for 25th at 1-under par. Chanhee Ryu followed closely with a 2-under 70, moving to even par through two rounds and tied for 30th. Caden Breisch turned in a 73, while Benton Sullivan added a 76 to complete the team scoring.
UC Riverside will look to build on its second-round surge when the Highlanders close out the invitational with Monday's final 18 holes.
