Troy Hammel joins the UC Riverside Men's Basketball program after playing four years at Merrimack College in Massachusetts (NCAA DII), where he earned a Northeast 10 All-Conference Honorable Mention his senior year.
Hammel graduated holding the program's career 3pt % and FT % records and earned a degree in Sports Management. Following his time at Merrimack College, he played for Athletes in Action, an exhibition touring team.
The Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant is a native of Santa Clarita, CA and attended Valencia HS before going on to play college ball.
