Finished ninth in the 10000m run at the 2008 Big West Championships . . .

Was a three-year letter winner in track and a three year letter-winner in cross country for Coach Alan Green at North Salinas HS . . . Was voted Most Outstanding Cross Country runner in each of her three years . . . Helped the team earn three CCS titles and make one state championship appearance in 2005 . . . Named North Salinas Athlete of the Year in 2006 . . . Also earned two varsity letters in swimming . . .
