Won a total of 13 varsity letters in her high school career, including four for cross country, four for track and field, three for canoe paddling and one each for soccer and swimming . . . Was the state champion in the 800m in 2006 . . . Was a team captain as a junior and senior, won individual championships as a sophomore and junior and helped the team to one Maui Interscholastic League Championship in her senior year . . . Made four appearances at the state Cross Country and Track and Field Championships . . . In track and field, was a captain as a sophomore, junior and senior . . .
