In the 55th minute LMU grabbed its insurance goal. After a foul on UCR, Sara Aldama lofted a free kick into the penalty area, where Tana Smothermon headed it into the back of the net. The Highlanders only had one shot the rest of the way and fell to their second straight defeat.
