Cal State Fullerton is the nation's No. 1 team as rated by Baseball America and Rivals.com. That's good news for the Titans, but it could be better news for UC Riverside. The Highlanders and Titans open the Big West season with a three-game series beginning Friday night. UCR, at 15-4, is off to one of its best starts in school history, and a chance to open conference play against the four-time national champion Titans couldn't have come at a better time.
