Baseball Enters Final Week Of Regular Season With Five On Docket

UC Riverside at Cal State Northridge Game Notes
Riverside—The UC Riverside Baseball Team enters the final week of the regular season with five games left on its schedule beginning with a Tuesday afternoon road game at Cal State Northridge. The Highlanders enter the game with a 29-21 record and an 11-10 mark in the Big West. The game with the Matadors, which begins at 3 pm PT, does not count towards conference standings.
On Wednesday the 15th ranked San Diego Toreros come to the Riverside Sports Complex for a 3 pm tile. Fans who are unable to attend can listen to The Voice of the Highlanders, John Ramey, bring the call to gohighlanders.com Then this weekend, UC Davis travels south to Riverside for the final three-game conference series of the season beginning Friday.
Following the Highlanders' 1-2 weekend at No. 25 UC Irvine, they fell to No. 72 in the boydsworld.com Pseudo RPI rankings putting a damper on their postseason hopes. The NCAA Tournament, which begins the first week of June, has 64 spots available.
