Men's Soccer Looks To Complete Sweep At UNLV Nike Invitational
9/5/2010 10:22:14 AM | Men's Soccer
Las Vegas—Two days after rewriting the program's record books in a 5-0 win over Alabama A&M, the Highlanders look to complete a two-match sweep at the UNLV Nike Invitational as they take on Valparaiso on Monday at 10 am PT.
Alex Racca and Aaron Long each scored two goals in the win over A&M, while Arnie Sanchez was credited with three assists. All three players tied UC Riverside program records with their performances. The five goals scored by the team also tied a program high water mark, and the team's seven assists set a new standard.
The Crusaders picked up a 1-0 win over the host Rebels Saturday afternoon. This is the first-ever meeting between the Highlanders and Crusaders

TAKING OFFENSE
