Riverside—After opening the 2010 season with four road matches, the UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team (1-3-0) returns to the friendly confines of the UCR Soccer Stadium for a Monday, September 13 match-up against the Biola Eagles (1-3-0). Kick off is scheduled for 7 pm PT. (View Live Stats)
The Highlanders are coming off of a heart breaking 2-1 overtime loss at 17th-ranked UCLA on Thursday which could have netted them their first win ever over the Bruins. All three of UC Riverside's losses this year have been by one goal, and each of their past two matches have ended in 2-1 overtime losses.
Biola is an NAIA instituion which advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament a season ago. This is the first meeting between the teams since the Highlanders made the transition to Division I.
