UCR Returns To League Play; Looks To Snap Skid At Fullerton Saturday

Game Notes - UC Riverside at Cal State Fullerton
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team returns to Big West Conference play on Saturday, January 8 at Cal State Fullerton at 3 pm PST at Titan Gym in Fullerton, CA. The Highlanders are looking to snap a five-game skid and pick up their first league win of the year against the Titans.

Cal State Fullerton enters the game with a 5-10 overall record and 1-2 in Big West play. Megan Richardson and Lyndsey Grove lead the bulk of the Titans offensive attack averaging 13.5 and 13.0 points per game respectively.
Senior guard Alyssa Morris leads UCR in points and rebounds with 12.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg, while four other players average 7.1 or more points.
The Highlanders own the all-time series record against Cal State Fullerton 19-16, including winning the last two straight and six of the previous seven.
