Highlanders Head To UC Santa Barbara For A 2 PM Tip Saturday

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team suited up just eight players on Thursday at Cal Poly, and will do so again as the team concludes its Central Coast trip with a 2:00 pm tip at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, January 14.
The Highlanders are looking for their first win of the Big West season against a Gauchos team with a 6-8 overall record, and 1-2 mark in league play.
Natasha Hadley and Dynese Adams led the Highlanders with 13 points apiece at Cal Poly on Thursday. Hadley is currently averaging 12.1 points per game for the season, while the team’s leading scorer, Tre’Shonti Nottingham, is out with an injury.
UC Santa Barbara is coming off a 61-53 loss to UC Irvine on Thursday. Four players are averaging above 8.0 points per game led by Nicole Nesbit’s 9.0 ppg.
The Gauchos own the all-time series record against the Highlanders 21-17.
