UCR Returns To League Play Hosting Cal State Fullerton Saturday At 5 PM

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team returns to Big West Conference action this Saturday, January 21, hosting the Cal State Fullerton Titans for a 5:00 pm tip at the Student Recreation Center.

The Highlanders are still searching for their first league victory of the season following an 0-6 record in conference play.

Cal State Fullerton sports an 8-9 overall record but a 1-4 mark in Big West play. The Titans’ lone conference victory came at UC Davis, 58-50, on December 31. Megan Richardson paces Fullerton offensively averaging 16.2 points per game.

Two UC Riverside players combine for nearly half of the team’s offensive load as Tre’Shonti Nottingham averages 14.2 point per game, and Natasha Hadley averages 12.6 ppg.

As a team, the Highlanders average just over 55 points a game, while opponents average 68.2.

UC Riverside owns the all-time series record against Cal State Fullerton, 21-16, including winning the last four consecutive contests.
