Women's Hoops Looks To Keep Up Winning Ways With Friday Contest Against Idaho

Riverside—The UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team concludes its four-game homestand on Friday, December 7 as the University of Idaho makes its way to Riverside for a 7 pm PT tip. The Highlanders are off to their best-ever start in the program's Division I history with a 5-2 record.

The Vandals are 2-6 this season, most recently defeating fellow Big West foe UC Irvine 73-55 on Wednesday. Alyssa Charlston paces the Idaho offense averaging 13.9 points per game.

Natasha Hadley was named Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday for her performances in the Highlanders' victories over Washington State (box score/recap/video) and Northern Arizona (box score/recap/video).

Tre'Shonti Nottingham continues to lead UCR with 23.6 points per game—good enough to rank second in the nation.
